When our holidays in the prairies were over, we stayed at Jeff and Joanna Halls in Bradford Ontario. We visited the Toronto Zoo on the 2nd of January. The kids loved the animals and it was quite a hit with us all. Here are some shots from the zoo. Afterwards, Joanna and Jeff treated Clay and I to an awesome meal once the kids were in bed and the chaos was over. Good times.

Christmas In The Prairies
It had been three years since we spent Christmas in Saskatchewan. Clay and the kids left to Sask on the 9th of Dec. I followed later, because of work, on the 17th. During our time there, we celebrated Grandma Stajniak's birthday, made sausage, hung out with the Langenberg crew of family, baptized our Godchild Emily, did Christmas Eve with Grandma & Grandpa Kotzer (Ukranian Style), Christmas day at the Farm, and surprized Grandpa Stajniak with a 60th Birthday party. It was so great to go home and see so many people. Here are some photos from our holiday in the prairies. Actually, there are a lot of photos, so brace yourself.

Fiona and Preston: One Year Photo Shoot
Here are photos of Fiona with her bear at one year old. She has grown a whole lot since their first photo shoot together. She is around 22 lbs now, a joyous and happy little girl. She has 8 teeth, is a proficient walker and has totally grasped the concept of presents. She gets really excited when a gift box or bag get placed in front of her...and not just because of the box!!
She seems to back on track with eating table food, which is such a blessing. So, here are a few of the standard Fiona and Preston photos as well as a slide show of me following her around and taking random photos playing and of course, opening her birthday gifts. Thank You to all who sent birthday cards and gifts to our sweet little girl.

Happy Birthday Fiona!
Fiona has a great birthday yesterday and today her friends came over for a small party. We have some cake and pizza and it was really fun. Fiona enjoyed her cake and didn't even get too messy! Enjoy the pictures,

Fiona and Preston: 11-Month Photo
It's about time I posted Fiona's update and a few photos of her at the age of 11 months. I apologize for the delay in this post, but the photos were kidnapped by our canon camera and whisked away to the deep freeze of Saskatchewan with Fiona and the rest of the family on Dec 9th.
During the 11th month, Fiona's biggest accomplishment was she learned to walk, started waving, and clapping...at least we thought that was clapping, but maybe that was just her way of smacking unwanted food away from her face. Normally, she was a good eater and then she would smack her food silly with her two hands. Her appetite and happy attitude went completely downhill when she got a pretty bad cold. Pretty much, Mommy and Daddy were the only two people who could make her happy. But most of the time, she was a happy baby who would loved to snuggle Mom and Dad in the morning, hug her brothers and sister and fall onto her blanket and cuddle up with it just for fun. No more teeth to report, but, the eight that she already has work great. Just ask anyone who she has bitten!!! Yes, my third biter.
Here are some photos of her at age 11 months with her bear. We will hopefully be posting an update on our Christmas holidays along with a tonne of photos in the near future.
