Our trip to Winnipeg started with a stop at the Ebert's house. We spent a night with them before really hitting the road, on July 1st. Our trip consisted of stops in Sudbury, Sault Ste Marie, Thunder Bay and Kenora. We arrived in the Winnipeg area on July 5th. The kids travelled really well. Fiona didn't cry once. We read Judy Blume books, watched movies and listened to Stewart McLean's Vinyl Cafe to pass the time on the road. The boys also did activities in their activitie books from the Eberts' family. Grace never got sick once, but I did give here gravol. We stayed at hotels with pools and some even had waterslides, which greatly aided the trip because the kids had something to look forward to. Love how Grace is hamming it up in the airplane! Too funny! Can't wait to get the kids and Emily together this weekend.
