Yay! Winter is Here!

Well, my kids are thoroughly happy that the snow has arrived. They are loving playing in it, especially with the neighbours. They even love shovelling the driveway. Here are some photos of the kids. Many of them are posed as I was trying to get the "perfect" photo of them for our Christmas cards, if that's even possible. But, I included them all as some of their expressions are pretty funny.

An Unscheduled Visit

Clay and I made a special trip to Saskatchewan around mid-November with the kids. Clay's uncle passed away and we went home to attend the funeral and spend some much needed time with family. In spite of the circumstances, we had a wonderful visit with our cousins, aunts and uncles. We saw every one of Clay's Cenaiko cousins over the weekend, which is a rarity. The kids had a blast with everyone. They were constantly horsing around with everyone and it's a wonder no one lost any teeth or got a black eye. I can't say the same for everyone underwear. When Uncle Kenny went downstairs to see the kids, Brodie yelled out, "Sweeet!!!! It's wedgie time!" So, as unexpected as this trip was, it was great to see so many people.
