Race Day

Riley had a cross country race against all of the schools in our school division on Oct 6th. It was a beautiful day for running. He raced against all the grade three boys in the division which was approximately about 110-120 and placed 23rd. He ran really hard. And at the end, he thanked me for be there to watch him run. What a wonderful big boy. He brought a tear to my eye.

Fun Photos

Well, our fall has been sensational. The weather's been very warm and generally lots of sunny days. The temperature took its first tumble last week. Here are some photos of the Fiona before before heading off to Tiny Tots. She wanted me to put tonnes of elastics in her hair, which normally, she hated getting her hair done at all. I also went out to Birds Hill Park with the girls and their friend Amy for some play time on the play structure. We don't have any decent playgrounds in Oakbank so going to Bird's Hill was quite a treat.

I dragged along my camera because I thought I could get some fun photos of the girls. This is what I managed to snap.

Clay's Birthday

Here is a picture of Clay and his crew on his 33rd birthday. We only had a little family celebration as the weekend was not conducive to a big party as there were too many other events going on. Maybe next year! We were just happy to have him home on his birthday, because he is gone away more often than not.

A New School Year

Well, the new school year started almost a month and a half ago. The kids are enjoying school and Grace is loving it. It was about time she got to go to school. It was almost as if she felt robbed from last year, because had we stayed in Ontario, she would have started last year.

Fiona has also started Tiny Tots. It is the highlight of her week. She loves it so much and has had no separation issues at all. She gets in the door and waves good bye to me. Fiona goes to Tiny Tots on Tuesday afternoons. Some Tuesdays, I have no one at home for the afternoon. It's hard to believe that we are hitting that stage of life, that our kids are all going to be in school soon enough.

Here are some photos from all of their first days of school.

More of August

Here are some photos following Brodie's birthday. Fiona figured she should learn to ride her bike on her own and she did it. She is a fantastic little rider. Brodie was super excited to get an RC helicopter for his birthday, so he used his money from Grandma and Grandpa Kotzer to fund this purchase. Other than that, the boys are really loving throwing the football and playing catch.

Brodie's Birthday

Wow! Time to get blogging. Brodie's birthday was like...a month and a half ago! Anyways, he requested a sleep over with some of his friends and a Roughrider birthday cake. So, that's what we did for him. As well, Grandma and Grandpa Stajniak joined us and Auntie Connie and Uncle Greg and girls. He had a great weekend and we had tonnes of fun. Anyways, here are the photos from that event that happened so long ago.
